and
Computer Shows of Northwest Indiana

(LONG) IMPORTANT NOTE: Beware UNLICENSED software! (From ANY Source.)
In our classes we promote the use of DOS 5.0 through DOS 6.22.
You would optimally want to purchase a full version of DOS. However, this is not always possible. Here are two examples of less than full versions are their very different results.

EXAMPLE 1: Vendor has the manual only. It does, however, have the license (with the hologram)
attached to it.
Result: You are then legally entitled to use a copy of DOS. With this license, you can
obtain it from another source in the same way you would be entitled to make a backup.

EXAMPLE 2: Vendor has a full version on diskettes s/he manufactured with neither manual nor license.
Result: S/he is in violation of Federal Copyright Law. If you purchase this software (and use it).
You will be, too!
